Us or Else Mini Movie and Town Hall!!

There is a project being presented by BET Music and T.I. tomorrow night, April 24th, 2017 at 11 pm ET/10pm CT entitled Us or Else. The project is inclusive of a mini movie and town hall viewable on two different days and two different channels. The Us or Else project could stand to have a really large effect on the community-at-large and I believe that we should watch it.

As some of you may know, in September of 2016 T.I. released an EP titled Us or Else: Letter to the System, an open letter to the world, reflecting on the recent string of killings of unarmed black men at the hand of police officers, whom are supposed to serve and protect. Protect Us or Else!

The mini movie will star T.I. and a few other Grand Hustle artists and I am assuming music from the EP will also be in the film. So tune in to BET tomorrow night for the mini movie.

The Town hall is a conversation style discussion that will cover many topics such as: police brutality, the role of the black church in inner-city communities, the image of African-Americans in the media, the responsibility of the artist and how to take back our own communities.

Moderated by CNN correspondent and political activist Angela Rye, this panel includes commentary and discussion with T.I., rapper Talib Kweli and social justice champion Tamika Mallory and airs exclusively on BET Jams and BET Soul on Tuesday, April 25 at 9 p.m. ET.
