Notable Inspiration!!

50 Shades of Grey

Here is a look at the two actors who will be taking on the roles of portraying the two infamous 50 Shades of Grey characters Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. I personally, have not read this book but have read numerous Facebook statuses and have over heard many conversations about it. The book is about a blooming erotic relationship between Christian and Anastasia which entails steamy scenes rooted in bondage, dominance and sadistic sex. The movie which will be based off of the novel was previously set to release August of 2014 but has since been rescheduled to an unknown future date. Are you excited there is a movie on the works or would you rather just enjoy the book???

Notable or Not?

Spied this image on Kelly Roland's Instagram page and she looks quite amazing! The aquamarine colored taffeta long skirt is bundled and ruffled at the waist reminding me of a flower in bloom. The diamond bodice (if a dress) or bodysuit (if a separate) is like a diamond flower bud blooming from the skirt dress petal. This look is not only fashion but visual art! Do you think it is Notable or Not?

Fantasia Is Casual and Cool!

Today, Fantasia posted a very appropriate Fall Look on her Facebook page. This look inspired me because it was simple, easy, comfortable yet accessorized properly. I decided to do a layout of this look and display how easy it would be to put together a similar outfit. If you are interested in any of the pieces that you see below please email imnotonik@gmail.com to purchase! Enjoy and please share this post.

Mary J!!

Mary J. Blige made a jazzy appearance at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and Film Gala!! I love what Mary is wearing here. It is relaxed yet tailored, it looks comfy yet sophisticated and I love shoes that are paired with it. Is this a color and or style that you would maybe wear this fall??

New Music from the History Makerz!!

The History Makerz are back, with another hot collaboration on Jacob Latimore's "This Is Me 2" mixtape. The mix can be downloaded by following this link . The song, New Girl, Track #9 is actually produced by Lee Major and credits songwriters the History Makerz, Reuben McCray and Sauce Boys. This mix is good body of work and this song is a favorite of mine. Jacob sounds as if he has taken some of his life experiences and growth and put them into the sound of his new music. What a refreshing gesture of a young artist! Jacob Latimore is a very talented young singer, dancer and artist and "This Is Me 2" just reiterates that fact even more. Keep your eyes and ears open for more to come from the History Makerz and Jacob Latimore future collaborations and individual projects!!!
