Issa Rae x Vanity Fair Cover

Issa Rae with another high fashion magazine cover. A very fashionable Issa Rae shown here on the cover of Vanity Fair! We should be nearing the return of the final season of Insecure. It’s bitter sweet indeed but anticipation outweighs its coming to an end!

Tracee Ellis Ross for Marie Claire!

Tracee Ellis Ross recently did a spread for Marie Claire magazine that was beyond what I would call a visual fantasy in a inspirational yet achievable fashionable kind of way. Tracee was styled by the popular Shiona Turini and in the picture above looks very much like her mother Diana Ross.  Shiona’s resume consists of wardrobe styling for Season 3 of Insecure, the movie Queen & Slim, Beyoncé’s Formation video, Solange’s Cranes In The Sky video and multiple print and film studios.

Over the weekend, the 2020 Hall of Fame class was finally inducted. After a postponed 2020 ceremony due to the threat of COVID-19 this HOF ceremony was well deserved. Kobe Bryant’s induction was received by his widow Vanessa Bryant and eldest daughter Natalia Bryant, presented by his mentor Michael Jordan. Kevin Garnett, Tamika Catchings and others were also inducted.
