This event opened doors for an opportunity to network with other Indy fashion business professionals and to view the IMA Exhibition An American Legacy: Norell, Blass, Halston and Sprouse . The atmosphere was chatty and relaxed, with attendees dressed in various comfort levels from casual attire to designer apparel. Fruit and cheese appetizers were in full swing as well as a cash bar. The music being played had subtle undertones to the conversations that were being initiated and maintained. The, An American Legacy Exhibition was beyond beautiful. The featured works of the four designers (Norell, Blass, Halston and Sprouse) were amazing to look at. The color combinations, textile choice, design and detailing of these art museum worthy garments make the fast fashion of today seem like a down grade. I often think
