Louis Vuitton Eco Lux for Fall 2022!

Since Virgil Abloh took over the helms of Men’s Artistic Director at Louis Vuitton in 2018, he has always been committed to sustainability. In Spring 2021, he unveiled an LV Trainer Upcycling sneakers in five color ways - all crafted entirely from up-cycled LV Trainer material.

For Fall 2022 LV will be selling a new Felt Line of luxury items. The eco-friendly felt consists of lurex tufting (which is 43 percent organic cotton, 20 percent recycled wool and other fibers), with a lining of 100 percent recycled polyester sourced from the brands existing stock. When thinking of the classic Soft Trunk design the chains and corners were made from 70 percent recycled plastic, while leather straps and handles are certified for an environmental method of tanning.

Virgil also designed a new LV logo reminiscent of the well known recycling symbol created by Gary Anderson.

Items are expected to be in Vuitton stores on July 16 and prices will range from $2300 for an extra small Keepall to $4800 for a weekender.

What do we think Stylistas? Would you bag these bags???
