The, An American Legacy Exhibition was beyond beautiful. The featured works of the four designers (Norell, Blass, Halston and Sprouse) were amazing to look at. The color combinations, textile choice, design and detailing of these art museum worthy garments make the fast fashion of today seem like a down grade. I often think of monochromatic as simple and boring, but some of the solid color outfits here were sophisticated, classy and eloquent.
