Whitney Houston!

We lost a wonderful, artist and person in Whitney Houston on February11th, 2012. (August 9, 1963 – February 11, 2012). The details of her death are still unknown at this time.

I grew up listening to her music and coveting her wonderful visuals in her music videos and movies as most of us did. In saying that, I am most impressed with Whitney Houston's ability to bounce back after going through life's trials and tribulations.

I do remember a time, that the media attempted to assasinate Miss Houston. Pulverizing her with questions of her addiction and using the coverage for more viewers.

Despite, the small hiccup in Whitney Houston's personal life she was a mother, a daughter, a sister and a friend to many people that adored her. Whitney Houston was an icon, a trailblazer for so many other women of color in modeling, acting, singing and more and I will always love you, Whitney Houston. May your soul rest in peace and your family be comforted in this time of sorrow.
