January 8, 2022, around 5 pm, Saturday evening, at Monument Circle patrons standing in line overheard an alleged backpack bomb threat made by a would be AT&T Playoff Playlist Live! concert attendee.

The concert series is being held in Indianapolis, Indiana as one of the many pre-events to the College Football Playoffs scheduled for Monday, January 10.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) arrived quickly to the scene and seized the alleged, searched (no bomb was found), but did take the person into custody as he had multiple outstanding warrants. Despite this occurrence, cold temperatures, and rain the concert still went on.

The Saturday lineup of performers were to include Pink Sweat$, AJR and Doja Cat. After about an hour and 45 minute delay at the gate, people began to enter the concert.
